Tainted Youth (7)

“Fear will stop you from doing something you will regret.
       She spread open her arms.
“Kill me,” she commanded. “I order you…”
       The lizard backed away…
“I cannot kill a person who has no hope.”
He left the little girl in her misery, so incredibly pathetic from self-pity…and hate.

Tainted Youth (6)

She knew she had to trust *him*…
“I don’t care if you kill me,” she bravely explained. “Because I have been rejected from so many people…”
“You don’t care if you die…” the monster taunted. “You’re a fool.”

Tainted Youth (5)

“The Load is too much…can you take it for me?”
She cried as she saw the monster… “Please…don’t eat me!”
The monster laughed. “No human weapon can kill me…you are out of luck.”

Tainted Youth (4)

“The Lord will fight for you. You need only be still.”
She walked alone along a path in a forest.
Then she came across a monster. It was a giant lizard, with gnashing teeth.

Tainted Youth (3)

Do not be afraid. Stand firm and watch the deliverance of the Lord.”
She went to the village healer. He told her “you do not have the disease you think you have. I cannot tell the people of your village that you are not lying. I am sorry but I have no proof of this disease.”
“What of my proof?” she demanded. “I am the one who is sick…do I not have a say in what happens to me?”
“If I cannot see it, it is not there,” the healer replied coldly.
The small child sank to the ground and drowned in her tears. “I’m not lying,” she screamed. “Just heal me and let me go. Why have you left me all alone?”

Tainted Youth (2)

“God will help me…as long as I believe…”
“Please help me,” she cried to her people. “I am very very ill.”
Instead of helping her, they threw rocks at her. “Liar,” they shouted. “How dare you find an excuse for your laziness by feigning sickness?! To hell with you!”
They never believe the white-haired child. She was shunned by the people she once called her friend. She grew sad at this because she was so kind and giving…
“How could people be so cruel?” she asked herself.

Tainted Youth: a Child story about Lupus (1)

“Because he has done so much for me…I will do what he asks, because I love and respect him.”
A small girl was afflicted with a monstrous disease, a disease with no cure. She stands alone, rejected by her people, for having a disease she did not want to have.
Her father and mother were griefstricken…and did not know what to do…
There was no cure. There was no understandinmg, and there was no love.
It was a world, stripped of all faith and hope. Everyone believed it was the end of the world.
She remembered the words of love and faith that she got from *him*.
She knew that life on earth was not forever and that she would be okay. People who judged never knew her, and would never have her friendship. When times were hard, she was tested so immensely.
